Before explaining what PoiGPSClub is, let’s begin with what it’s not. It is not Google Maps with itineraries and all its other features. This has also not been designed to just place some points of interest on a map or to record a journey. You will find dozens of excellent websites and applications to do this.

PoiGPSClub is mainly focused on one thing: Inventories on Maps. Its main goal is really very simple: to place and/or collect inventory items on a map. However, what makes PoiGPSClub unique is its collaborative and privacy aspects which are absolutely mandatory in any enterprise grade solution.

On PoiGPSClub, everything is articulated around projects. Projects can be public or private. Projects owners can invite contributors or simply ask a group of people to join using a special number and/or a password.
